Acoustic & Intimate Vol. 1 & 2 Al

Acoustic & Intimate vol. 1 and 2 were gifts from God to me. He gave them to me as a graduation present for completing the 12 steps.

Each song He used me to write became healing for all different parts of my life. I would sit down to write and the words that appeared on the page were each a letter from Him. Exposing my inner most thoughts and feelings from the perspective of my Heavenly Father. Times when I thought I was sitting in a room alone deep in despair, He recalled and revealed to me that He was right there all along. Just waiting for me to call out to Him.

These albums were written after coming out of a long period of unbelief a lifetime of addiction and ignorance to who He truly was. I had been saved 10 years earlier but during those ten years I had a very distorted view of who He truly is. I was looking through the lens of a hurt and wounded child, deep in rebellion and determined to go my own way.

However I felt during that time, never changed who He was. It never changed His love or His faithfulness to me. He stood by me and the decision He made to choose me. Listening to the songs on these Albums reveal my long walk back home to Him. A walk I would do a million times now that I know who He is.
