God tells us when we love Him we will obey. Writing this album with Him was a huge step in that direction for me. This album was a deep dive into His heart and all the ways He expresses His love to His children.
His character as revealed in the Psalms brought me to my knees. A Father so faithful, loving, kind, forgiving, just, concerned, protective and who deeply cares about each and every one of His children. This is the place where He became my Endless Muse. A sort of quest to be able describe Him in such a way worthy of who He truly is. He inspires so many beautiful thoughts and words that eventually turn from poetry into songs.
I grew up on reggae music from Roots Reggae to Dancehall. I loved it all. So when God put it on my heart to make this album I was so excited. I knew there would be many others out there who would love it too. Now we have a way to enjoy what we love but with deep and meaningful messages connecting our hearts to God.
I pray you will see an understanding, kind and loving Father who only wants the best for us when you listen to this album. Our constant and everlasting guide.
Acoustic & Intimate vol. 1 and 2 were gifts from God to me.
Each song He used me to write became healing for all different parts of my life. I would sit down to write and the words that appeared on the page were each a letter from Him. Exposing my inner most thoughts and feelings from the perspective of my Heavenly Father. Times when I thought I was sitting in a room alone deep in despair, He recalled and revealed to me that He was right there all along. Just waiting for me to call out to Him.
This album was released on the 10th Anniversary of the day Jesus woke me up to who he was and invited me to walk with him.
