Deeper Album Story

After writing Acoustic & Intimate Vol. 1 & 2 I felt the nudge to move on. To move past the hurt and pain I had felt earlier in my life into a place where I could grow.

The album Deeper was His call to me to take my eyes off of myself and move on beyond the swell of the waves that kept taking me under.

It was time to focus on who He was, because that was the only true way to stop backsliding to who I used to be.

I opened my Bible and started focusing on His character. I started to let go of the sinking sand I had built my home on and let the waves wash it away into the deep blue. The name of the album is a metaphor to follow Him into the deepest part of the ocean where all I had was Him. A call to trust Him and believe He would not let me drown.

True to His word, he kept me afloat. He brought me into a Deeper understanding of who He was. He showed me nothing can compare to Him.
